When the filling rate of the grinding medium of the horizontal sand mill increases from 40% to 75%, the running current curve shows an upward trend, reflecting that the grinding medium in the sand mill is fully agitated, and the energy demand changes greatly; the filling rate is 75%-85%, the running current curve changes smoothly, reflecting that the medium in the sand mill has reached an equilibrium point, the energy demand is stable, the filling rate is greater than 85%, and the running current curve changes in a downward trend, reflecting that the grinding medium in the sand mill is excessive, and the grinding medium and There is a sliding phenomenon between the dispersing discs, the dispersing discs cannot drive the grinding media to move, and the energy requirement is reduced. Therefore, according to the current change curve of the horizontal sand mill, the suitable filling rate of the grinding medium is 80%.
